Circle
Delivery Service, Inc. Announces 2010 Rate Increase
Circle Delivery
Service, Inc. is announcing that effective February 15, 2010 we will implement
an increase on our class rates. This increase will have an overall impact of
5.9%. While we continually strive to improve efficiency, we find that we must
raise our rates at this time. This rate increase will allow us to remain a
viable carrier while investing in our people, increasing our security,
maintaining our equipment properly, and investing in new technology. We are
also revising our rules tariff, CDSE 190, for the first time in seven years,
covering accessorial charges. Most of our accessorial charges are significantly
below the level of our competitors.
The new rates
and the rules tariff will be available for download from our website
www.circledelivery.com on or before February 15, 2010.
Due to the
volatility of the price of fuel, this increase does not contain a fuel component
and the fuel surcharge will remain in effect. Our fuel surcharge helps us
recover the extra expense involved with fuel spikes. Our fuel surcharge is
competitive and is less than the surcharge of many other LTL carriers. Please
see our fuel surcharge chart which can be found at
www.circledelivery.com.
As a reminder,
all invoices are due on receipt and are considered past due after 30 days.
We appreciate
your business and look forward to serving your transportation needs. Please give
us a call at (800)251-1834 or call your local representative if you have any
questions.

Revised Fuel Surcharge Effective 5/01/2006
Application of
Surcharge (See notes A-F)
The net Line Haul Charge will be subject to the fuel
surcharge as provided below. The amount of the fuel surcharge will be determined
by the U.S. national average fuel index for diesel fuel as provided by the U.S.
Department of Energy (D.O.E.). The current index may be obtained by calling
1-202-586-6966 .
The diesel fuel index announced each Monday will be utilized
to determine the applicable fuel surcharge, which surcharge will be adjusted up
or down on the succeeding Wednesday based on the above referenced U.S. D.O.E.
index.
